In Memory of Ponce and Zola

I received a very sad email from my friend Dickse who lives in New York. She and her friend, Joanna, have the French Bulldogs that we refer to as "Dem Dawgs" and who have appeared here on this blog. Over the holidays Joanna left her two dogs, Ponce and Zola, at a friends place to watch while she was away. They got out and were missing for a few days until they were found drowned in a pond that was covered with ice. They had fallen through. So sad and tragic. My heart goes out to Joanna and to Dickse who said she is still mourning their loss. Ponce was only a year and a half and Zola was almost one.
